As the Needham Area Immigration Justice Task Force, we believe immigrants are a necessary bedrock of a prosperous and growing country. We are committed to welcoming immigrants, advocating for just policies, and ensuring fair working conditions and security for families.
We unequivocally condemn mass deportations and the separation of families. We decry any policies that fail to uphold just and humane treatment for all immigrants, regardless of their status. Our vision is a United States where all are welcomed, diversity is celebrated, and every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
We also strongly oppose rhetoric that disparages or demonizes immigrants. It is essential that we foster a dialogue rooted in compassion, respect, and understanding, ensuring that all people—regardless of their background—are treated with dignity and fairness.
