SUMMARY:Workplace Exploitation & Wage Theft (Lane Lyceum)
DESCRIPTION:Unpaid overtime; removal of holidays; sexual harassment; threat of retaliation. These are just some of the ways immigrant workers are exploited in our communities. Diego Low\, Coordinator of the Metrowest Worker Center\, has been an advocate for workers’ rights for over 3 decades and will share about the current tactics employers use to exploit workers and the tactics workers use to fight for their rights. \nThis event is hosted by First Parish in Needham\, as part of their Lane Lyceum series. The event is free of charge and open to the public. \n9:15 am in the Parlor (First Parish)
