As many of you know, representing the immigrant community in these difficult times can be incredibly hard on the lawyers involved.
Needham immigration lawyer, Heather Yountz, collected words of encouragement, appreciation and support that she sent on to those helping Rumeysa Ozturk, the Tufts graduate student, who was arrested by masked ICE agents outside her home in Somerville. These comments were much
appreciated.
The NAIJTF would like to continue this effort. In planning this project, Heather has agreed to forward our words of support to those lawyers continuing to represent immigrants and refugees.
